Bridge building starts with a detailed survey of the land. Similarly, I begin by researching your goals, audience, and competitors—gathering the materials we need to make your website a good fit. This step ensures your digital foundation is built on insights, not assumptions.

The right materials make all the difference.

Just as engineers need to select the materials for a bridge to ensure it’s functional and lasting, I craft your website’s style using a curated UI kit based on the established design direction. This includes color palettes, typography, inputs and buttons.

Every bridge needs a solid foundation.

Think of wireframes as the foundation of your website. Like a bridge’s structure that determines its strength, I create a plan that includes your sitemap, information architecture, and page layouts. This ensures that your website is easy to navigate and able to guide users smoothly from point A to point B.

Scaffolding keeps things steady as we build.

In bridge construction, scaffolding provides crucial support during the building process. In my practice, I use design systems for that. This ensures that consistency is maintained throughout the process and reduces prototype development time through reusable components.

Much like a bridge’s blueprint outlines its final form, the prototype integrates all previous steps into a working model. This is where we add the roadway surface in the form of animations and interactions—creating an engaging, user-friendly experience that keeps your audience on track and engaged.

Before a bridge opens to the public, engineers rigorously test its strength and safety. In the same way, I test your website with real users to identify and resolve any weak spots. This step ensures that your site is intuitive, efficient and error tolerant. After testing and potentially implementing changes, your site is ready for the coding stage.
